Job Description :
As a Forklift Operator at FedEx, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
You will ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods, maintaining the flow of products and supporting the overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of packages.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the forklift.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
