You must reside in one of the following market areas : Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen, or Edinburg.
You will investigate and maintain property / casualty claims. Determine liability, secure information, reviews coverages, arrange appraisals, and settle claims.
You will support the Claim Division goal of ensuring customer service, industry leadership and partner with agency to deliver seamless claim service.
You will work on moderately complex claims. You will work in the field and handle homeowner property field claims in the Lower Rio Grande area (Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen, Edinburg).
You must be located within one of the mentioned market areas for consideration. A company fleet vehicle is provided with the position.

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
- Provide customer policy activities for new business or renewal policies and policy changes.
- Complete system entry process for new policies or policy changes for multiple systems.
- Research inquiries from customers or agents.
- Generate letters, correspondence and policy documents as needed.
- May conduct on-the-job training as needed.
- May support call center operations when call demand exceeds forecast or problem escalation requires assistance.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Basic knowledge and application of underwriting, servicing or billing guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience using reference materials, reading policy language, and processing rules and procedures.
- Must pass bilingual assessments in reading, understanding, writing, and conversing fluently in both Spanish and English.
- Prior experience writing estimates using Xactimate preferred (1-3 years)
- Can pass a Spanish language proficiency assessment.
In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home and / or in the field handling claims, typically within a 2-hour drive time radius.
A company fleet vehicle is provided with the position.
On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
