RESPONSIBILITIES :
The installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plc and pc-based equipment and facility control systems.
Provides guidance and education in control systems to the maintenance staff.
- Ability to safely work on single and 3-phase power, up to 480VAC.
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs of production and facility equipment during scheduled and unscheduled downtime periods.
- Maintains effective communications with management and production, equipment manufacturers and supporting functions that provide support, parts, and services to our maintenance efforts.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, drawings, and schematics to perform required maintenance and service.
- Assures compliance with Lock Out / Tag Out policy as well as arc fault regulations.
- Maintains work records and preventative maintenance records and computer directed preventative maintenance records as required.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- This role is the primary personnel responsible for ordering and replenishing parts on hand per the needs of the manufacturing process.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma / GED or an equivalent number of years of education
- 6+ years of production maintenance experience; strong plc control, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical experience and possess solid industrial skills in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of Bulk Pneumatic Systems a plus
- Welding, Tig, Mig or Stick welding and brazing capabilities a plus.
- Computer literate and experienced in use of MS Office Suite. WE OFFER :
