The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU) is seeking applications for Research Scientists.
Positions with specific areas of research could include :
- Biomedical engineering
- Communications and signal processing
- Computer engineering
- Controls and robotics
- Electromagnetics and remote sensing
- Lasers and photonics
NOTE : Applicants must obtain a PhD degree in an appropriate discipline related to Electrical and Computer Engineering by the proposed start date.
These positions have the possibility of renewal depending on performance and availability of funds. Required Job Qualifications Research Scientists / Scholars I :
- Recent PhD with limited research experience (one to three years)
- Professional, post-baccalaureate (or equivalent) experience in STEM field
- Demonstrated ability to produce publications; and
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Research Scientists / Scholars II :
- Research Scientist I plus experience or PhD with 3 years of post doctoral experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to produce publications; and
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Research Scientists / Scholars III :
- Research Scientist II plus five years of experience post doctoral or PhD with 7 years of post doctoral experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to produce publications; and
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
