Broad Street Home Care is seeking a male caregiver to care for our client in the Vernon Hills Area as a live-in staying at the client's residence 6 days a week.
Purpose of Position
This position will require the caregiver to drive the client to and from appointments and errands, accompany the client on outdoor recreational activities, provide companionship, and ensure safety, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
This position works closely with the Nurse Care Manager to ensure the client receives the proper care and support needed to maintain independence and remain safely in their home.
The ideal candidate will be able to engage with the client to make them feel comfortable as well as be able to be discreet when needed as the client is continuing their employment.
The caregiver will also need to be able to accompany the client on trips to different states as needed.
