They also load and unload merchandise using warehouse lift equipment, organize and store merchandise, as well as keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
Maintain neat and clean parts room at all times and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and provide optimal level of customer services.
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for the receiving of parts, equipment, and materials to the warehouse inventory, parts, or job P.
O. As assigned. Additionally, the Inventory Assistant will perform counts and restock for all division warehouses vehicles yards.
This means processing inventory orders, logging items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and physically moving product within the inventory room to the sales floor, and vice versa and accounting for all inventory going to jobs, trucks and yard.
Additional Required Skills : Self-Motivated, Valid CA state driver s license and Good Driving record, Computer Skills Proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Email, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Must be able to lift up to 50-65 pounds at times. 8 - 11 hour shifts depending on season.
