TITLE : Project Execution Manager REPORTS TO : Director Operations DEPARTMENT : Operations SUPERVISES : Project Fabrication and Execution Leads EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Minimum Education and Experience are as follows :
- Engineering Degree preferred
- Minimum 15 years construction management experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
- Extensive working knowledge of deepwater floating production units Spars, TLP’s, and Semisubmersibles
- Good oral and written communication skills PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Major responsibilities can be summarized as follows :
- Manage all fabrication and installation planning work on the project to achieve project and company objectives
- Incorporate the engineering and procurement requirements into the fabrication and installation plan
- Develop the details of the EPCI execution plan
- Ensure the application of the Quality and HSES Management Systems on the EPCI execution planning portion of the work Specific Duties include :
- Organize EPCI planning team and resources
- Define company and project objectives for EPCI execution plan success
- Initiate the EPCI execution plan development through a kickoff meeting
- Draft EPCI execution plan and communicate to execution entities for review
- Interface with execution entities to establish preferred execution sites, methods, resource and equipment requirements, etc.
- Interface with planning and scheduling team to develop details of plan and schedule
- Monitor EPCI planning progress through utilization of the project control system
- Interface with project management team regarding progress, reporting, change management, quality management, HSES management, etc.
- Oversee the production, approval, and issue of all EPCI planning deliverables
- Document the final execution plan as required to serve as the basis for the proposal and startup phase.
- Ensure the EPCI commercial proposal is consistent with the execution plan.
