Research Scheduling Coordinator - Animal Assistant

The successful candidate will work together with our study directors, veterinarians, and quality assurance department to ensure all study aspects are conducted per scientific and regulatory standards.

Daily tasks include :
The primary focus of this role is to plan, schedule, and organize necessary resources for study conduct and assignments both In-Life and Post-Life events
Coordinate specific study activities and training events with laboratory management
Interface and hold meetings with the off-site Pathology department to track Post-Life events
Providing, analyzing, and updating metrics
Supply ordering while being cost effective and managing resources
Managing lab equipment and corresponding records to maintain regulatory compliance
The secondary focus will be conducting Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) studies from start to end with minimal supervision during the course of the study
Perform health assessments of animals, ability to learn medical terminology
Performing technical tasks alongside documenting raw data in compliance with established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Handling / restraint of various species
Hands-on dosing techniques, of various species, including subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's degree in business administration or science related field
Advanced proficiency in scheduling software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with inventory management
Familiarity with managing and updating scheduled tasks and assignments
Comfortable working around animals
ALAT certification or greater is a plus, but not a requirement
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Good written and verbal communication skills required
Pay Range : $25-$30 / hour
All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees / certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
