Applied Technology Services (ATS) is an IT systems integrator and has been a trusted partner to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region for 20 years.

We have core competencies in Enterprise Modernization, Infrastructure Services, End User Computing, Workforce Optimization, Cyber Security Solutions, and IT Staffing.

ATS provides a wide array of professional and managed services from the data center to the desktop. ATS holds minority certifications in Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia and is a Third-Party Certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB).

We are seeking an Executive IT Support Specialist to provide technical guidance and support to UMBC executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience.

He / she will use their interpersonal skills to communicate with leaders and provide a solution to their technical problems quickly and professionally.

Technical capabilities will be on Google Suite and Microsoft 365 with a focus on integration and synchronization capabilities.

Need :

Act as product expert : Highly skilled in the use and support of Microsoft end user productivity applications, including Outlook, MS Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, etc.

Highly skilled in the use and support of the Google Suite of end user productivity applications, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.

Evaluate the product by testing its capabilities in an on-going manner. Determine and report on system capabilities and restrictions.

Provide support in training team / staff / students. Research and documentation of Microsoft productivity tools and their integration with Google Workspace.

Provide executive level support : End user support of executive level staff in a mixed Google / Microsoft environment.

Support of both platforms productivity applications to include email, cloud storage, calendaring, AI, etc.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or the equivalent) is required
  • 5-7 years of related technical support experience
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting upper management / executives
  • Technically savvy with strong project management skills
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and achieving solutions
  • The ability to explain to a non-technical person in a way they will understand
  • At least one IT certification

Preferred :

Certification in Google IT Support, Microsoft IT Support Specialist Professional Certificate, Microsoft 365 : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft IT Support, Microsoft Office Support (MOS)
