WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Phone Triage Triages incoming phone calls and electronic communication; responds or escalates per protocols.
• Service Gathers requirements from those we are privileged to serve, internal and external, and provide information via phone, electronic messaging and in person.
• Patient Care Supports office staff with patient care including rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining a comprehensive medical history, administering vaccines, injections, and medications, phlebotomy, point of care testing and medication reconciliation.
• Communication Conducts outbound calls or emails to communicate test results and / or directions from the provider.
• Authorizations Initiates and follows through on prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refills.
• Documentation Documents results and other patient-related information in the electronic health record.
• Direct Patient Care Supports office staff with patient care, when coverage is needed, including rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining a comprehensive medical history, administering vaccines, injections and medications, phlebotomy, point of care testing and medication reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Required- Associate's Degree or
• Required-Nursing / Patient Care Certificate
• Preferred- 2 years Nursing / Patient Care Experience
• Required- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Required- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
