Job Description :

Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for seniors? This is not a typical clinical RN role. This position in our non-medical home care agency will combine your RN expertise with day-to-day operations of the business.

While not purely a clinical position, this job is a great fit for someone who wants to connect on a personal level with seniors, their families and Care Professionals while offering a flexible schedule.

Objective :

The RN Supervisor provides supervision for Care Professionals employed by Home Instead. This individual will also create and update clients’ plans of care and ensure the provision of quality services that meet applicable state / federal guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities :

Reflect the core values of the Home Instead.

Create and regularly update the plan of care for clients according to the company's policies and applicable licensing regulations.

Meet with potential and current clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of a service plan.

Support the company's Client Care Coordinators by working with clients and their families on the various issues that may arise to ensure they are getting resolution to issues as well as receiving the services needed.

Ensure that a Quality Assurance visit and review of plan of care is done every 90 days for client’s that require personal care assistance.

Recognize and pursue opportunities to modify service plans to best support the ongoing needs of clients through a quality assurance program.

Provide general supervision of CNA and In-Home Aides (Care Professionals) ensuring quality service is provided to clients and according to state regulations and the company's policies and procedures.

Ensure the Care Professionals have the competencies required for the clients to whom they are assigned.

Conduct training and competency evaluations for care pros.

Demonstrate open and effective communication with the company owner, colleagues, Care Professionals, clients and family members.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
