Bonus amounts could be prorated based on number of billable hours worked. Position Summary : This position is responsible for providing clinical care in the school setting for children & adolescents (ages 5-22).
She / he / they will utilize assessment tools to identify areas for interventions and partner with district staff to support the student in a manner that is conducive to all aspects of wellness.
While working as part of a team, this position requires a significant amount of autonomy, and ideal candidates will possess the ability to adapt approaches based on the individual needs of students.
This position is a 10-month, full-time position. Required Qualifications : Master’s Degree in human services or related field including psychology, counseling, or social work One or more year of clinical experience 2 or more years of experience providing therapy to children & adolescents Preferred Qualifications : Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker Responsibilities : Provide direct services to individuals, families, and groups through a wide variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to behavior modification, individual, group, and family therapies in multiple school settings.
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, in individual and group settings Create, maintain, and update client documentation to address client specific needs.
Coordinate total care given by collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to provide and facilitate care in accordance with policies and procedures, philosophy and objectives of Child and Family Focus and the DCIU.
Coordinate and triage all referrals while ensuring care is provided in a timely manner Serve as a liaison between Child and Family Focus, school district staff and the DCIU, focusing on customer services, community partnerships, and advocacy for students in need Utilize multiple electronic health records, when needed Use and implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices - Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & Empowerment.
Additional duties as assigned Work Environment : Work in standard office environment as well as school-based settings.
