Founded in 2019, Talon employs over 150 Aerospace and Defense engineers and other support staff to solve problems for a variety of applications to include aircraft, ballistics, cybersecurity, motorsports, armor development, biological systems, missiles, and warheads.

Talon has an office in Tucson, AZ that is providing staffing solutions, technical services support, and manufacturing to Fortune 500 companies.

Manufacturing Engineer Intern Job Description :

As an Engineer Intern you will gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

Here, you'll work on global projects as you build a career that could range from electricians and engineers to project managers and procurement specialists for people with your background.

The Engineer Intern will work on-site with all functions of the manufacturing team to improve productivity and process maturity.

Pr imary Qualifications :

  • Deliver multiple engineering skill areas to accomplish engineering content of business objective
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic life cycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
  • Researches, develops, analyzes, designs, and tests company products using engineering and scientific principles
  • Translates engineering and scientific concepts from preliminary ideas through product life cycle
  • Analyzes and verifies product design and performance for adequacy, including reliability
  • Ability to apply your military experience to meaningful projects while developing skills in business acumen, data analytics, financial analysis, strategy and operations
  • Areas of Interests : Multidisciplinary Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software and Systems)

Must Have Qualifications :

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
  • As such, all U.S. positions require a background check, which may include a drug screen
  • Background check and drug screen required (every external new hire in the U.S.)
  • Drug Screen only performed on re-hires who have been gone for more than 1 year
