This position may assist with monthly reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions.
The Candidate should have / be :
- At least 6 years of financial analysis or management accounting experience
- BA / BS degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong systems background
- Experience with Budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel
- Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
- Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process
- Data management experience
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors
- Able to work independently
- A self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reports
Beneficial skills include :
- Access or other data base experience
- Cost analysis / Cost Accounting
- System implementation
- Sage
- DataRails or similar excel centric data base system
- Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background
