POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruiter will play a key role in the continued development of a creative, proactive, and organized approach to our talent acquisition strategy.
Supported by internal and external resources, the AM Talent Acquisition function is a critical service delivery function in a $2B+ sales, distribution, and manufacturing organization.
As we expand Talent Operations across the country, we are seeking a professional, experienced recruiter to support hourly, non-exempt roles in the Mid-Atlantic region.
This includes manufacturing plant production positions, both skilled and non-skilled, as well as transportation in supply centers and warehouse workers.
Please note that this role is hybrid and requires the availability to work onsite from our Ennis, TX location, as well as the potential for other locations in the region, approximately three days a week.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Recruit candidates to fill mainly non-exempt positions across specific, assigned AM business lines (Manufacturing) while interacting and supporting parallel efforts supporting our other business segments.
Some support in exempt roles within the Manufacturing business unit may be required at times.
- Candidate pipeline generation for active and proposed business needs using standard and creative sourcing techniques and management of all activities through the corporate Applicant Tracking System.
- Creates and posts effective job descriptions to various internet sites and uses social media to promote advertised employment opportunities.
- Conduct initial screenings and initial interviews (both internal and external) to recruit prospective employees and refer job applicants to specific job openings.
- Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
- Effective collaboration with HR colleagues and processes, ensuring effective and seamless onboarding for successful candidates.
- Partner with the company's hiring managers / HR Business Partners to execute effective recruiting strategies to meet hiring plans in a timely and consistent fashion while responding effectively to changes of business requirements.
- Build and maintain relations with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience through the recruitment process.
- Track, and analyze improvement plans for key talent acquisition processes and metrics to monitor and improve service delivery.
- Adhere to an exemplary customer service model for Talent Acquisition services across all parts of the AMI business.
- Stay informed about labor market trends / regional market trends, competitor practices, and industry developments to advise on effective recruitment strategies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to enhance company's reputation as an employer of choice in the region.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
- Minimum of 5 years of full life cycle recruiting i.e. staffing or agency, corporate, contract.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter & Indeed Resume Finder required
- Experience using an ATS required
- Experience hiring high volume, non-exempt positions-required
- Propensity for continuous learning, rapid prototyping and creative problem solving
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a true sense of urgency
- Understanding of social media tools, to include broadcast, engagement, conversion measurement and reporting.
- Appropriate proficiency of MS Office tools, internet search techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within and across teams.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant and office space. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise.
Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat.
Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.
