A large multi-specialty hospital is seeking an endocrinologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Jackson, MI.
The position is based in both an inpatient hospital and an outpatient clinic, with coverage starting in January 2025 due to growth.
The inpatient schedule is Monday to Sunday from 6 : 30 AM to 3 PM onsite, with night and weekend call, while the outpatient schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
Call is bi-weekly with a 1 : 2 ratio. The role involves managing an average of 16 inpatient surgical cases per day, using Epic for documentation.
It is a Trauma Level II facility (though trauma isn't applicable to endocrinology). Board certification and a fellowship are required, along with BLS certification.
No procedures are required, and providers needing to obtain a state license are accepted.
