Responsibilities
Underwrite, Analyze and Close Loans : Working with the relationship manager, take a lead role in the structuring, underwriting and analysis ofmercial loan requests.
Prepare credit approval packages, present rmendations to the credit team / senior management, and closeplexmercial loans.
Portfolio Management : Responsible for monitoring the credit quality of the assigned portfolio by periodically evaluating financial trends, covenantpliance and borrowing bases, including the preparation of annual (or more frequent) reviews.
In addition, responsible for managing delinquencies and collateral exceptions.
- Relationship Management : Highly visible role in managing the client relationship along with the deal team.
- Training : Mentor, train and develop junior team members.
- Maintaining Knowledge : Knowledgeable about the variousmercial products available to clients as well as general market / industry trends.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field, required at any level
- Excellent leadership andmunication skills enabling smooth and efficient loan closings as well as daily portfolio management
Portfolio Manager I
- 3-5 years of experience, may include less experience per management evaluation if individuals demonstrated the ability or met requirements of the portfolio manager position
- Handles transactions / relationships / portfolio with the lowest level ofplexity
Portfolio Manager II
- 5-8 years of experience
- Handles transactions / relationships / portfolio with moderate level ofplexity
Senior Portfolio Manager
- 8-12 years of experience
- Handles transactions / relationships / portfolio with high level ofplexity
- Experience working with less experienced team members to mentor and develop them, sharing expertise and insights
Senior Portfolio Manager 2
- 12+ years of experience
- Handles transactions / relationships / portfolio with the highest level ofplexity
- Experience working with less experienced team members to mentor and develop them, sharing expertise and insights
- A high level of oral and written interpersonal skills are necessary to rmend loan transactions to bank senior management
