About the Opportunity
Kadena is seeking a skilled Solidity Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technology to join our dynamic team.
This position is critical as Kadena continues to innovate and scale its blockchain platform. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts for Kadena's new EVM chains.
Your expertise will drive the next generation of Kadena solutions, accelerating product development and providing transformative tools to our users.
This position reports directly to the Solutions Manager and offers opportunities for growth and impact within the role and the company.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable and secure smart contracts using Solidity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new solutions
- Develop smart contracts with Ethereum-compatible protocols on Kadena's layer 1 blockchain
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our solutions
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor non-solidity developers
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into solutions
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the design of our infrastructure
What Sets You Apart
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Solidity and smart contract development
- Proven experience working with blockchain technologies, decentralized protocols, and consensus algorithms
- Solid understanding of software development principles, concurrency, and distributed systems
- Experience with functional programming languages and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A BS / MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What We Offer
This role has an annual starting salary range of $150,000 - $190,000 + benefits listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
