Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Field Leadership and Management : Develop comprehensive master project schedules.
Obtain commitment and "buy-in" from Field Managers (FM) regarding schedules and goals.Foster and promote team building within the FM team.
Enhance the goal setting and monitoring skills of FMs.Conduct regular weekly meetings with FMs to review job progress, compare it to schedules and goals, and plan for required resources such as manpower, materials, tools, and subcontractors.
Enforce company policies and procedures through the FMs.Evaluate performance of FMs and other field personnel following established procedures.
Implement company procedures for dismissing field employees from projects.Adequately prepare for and actively participate in project construction meetings.
Prepare for and attend turnover and turnback meetings.Contract Management : Coordinate Purchase Orders, change order pricing, submittals, critical materials, permits and inspections, correspondence, MSDS manuals, O & M manuals, as-builts, and scheduling in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.
Safety and Risk Management : Promote a safety culture at job sites.Ensure effective weekly job site safety meetings conducted by FMs.
Ensure active participation in job site safety meetings held by General Contractors ().Enforce PEC and job site safety policies through FMs.
Encourage field personnel to attend all company-sponsored safety classes.Appoint a representative from each major job site to the company safety committee.
Promote the company's safety incentive program.Assist in developing positive client relationships with the General Contractor, owner, architect, engineer, other subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and the local community.
Other Responsibilities and Duties : Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.Attend and actively participate in weekly Operation and manpower meetings.
Join the company safety committee or provide input / support to the committee.Recruit qualified candidates for all positions.
Job Qualifications : Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other relevant national and local , Scheduling, and current software systems for , organizational, and time management , with a focus on both long-term and short-term Education or Formal Management and Experience : Required : 3-5 years of prior successful project management : PMP certification or equivalent CAPM : Journeyman license or equivalent field : Basic estimating and / or change order assimilation skills.
