Full-time Nanny in Mountain View, CA for a 5-month-old

A bit about us : We both work in tech (in A.I.) and this is our first child. We are looking for an experienced infant nanny who can provide attentive, and nurturing care for our baby, and support us with our baby’s routine and development.

We are big on schedules. My husband does coding in his free time, and I like movies, hanging out with friends, and going for walks.

I’m bilingual (Spanish / English), and we’d love for our child to be exposed to other languages. We’re an organized, communicative, and caring family! Our 5-month-old baby girl is an affectionate, happy, and smiley baby.

She likes playing under the covers, listening to music or crinkly things, and loves trees in the wind. She’s an observant baby who knows what she wants.

A bit about you : You have a passion for childcare and are looking for a long-term family to grow with! You have ample infant, and toddler experience, plus a positive attitude.

You are gentle, compassionate, reliable, and punctual. You’re comfortable working in a home where parents work from home and like to interact with their child during breaks.

You’re easy-going, proactive, intuitive, and caring. You are able to provide attentive, screen-free care and are not on your phone when our child is awake or playing at the park.

Job Duties : All baby-related tasks such as diaper changes, swaddling, soothing, rocking, burping, following nap routine, bottle-feeding, prepping baby bottles, age-appropriate activities such as reading books , music / singing, going on walks / spending time outdoors, preparing meals and snacks for the baby as she begins solid foods, assisting with light baby-related housekeeping (e.

g. washing bottles / dishes / pump parts, play area and nursery, baby laundry, emptying diaper pail), driving baby to local playgrounds and libraries, maintaining open communication parents, providing updates on baby’s wellbeing and development, and supporting parents’ care preferences and routines.

You would be comfortable working with a mildly ill baby. Set yourself apart : You are bilingual (Spanish / English), have Montessori experience, are familiar with RIE methods, willing to use a phone app to keep track of baby’s naps, feedings, etc, and / or take initiative to help make parents’ lives easier!
