Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join a reputable school district in Country Club Hills, IL.
This full-time onsite position involves teaching in a 6th-grade classroom within the special education program.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in the 6th-grade classroom.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Illinois state certification in Special Education
- Previous experience teaching in a special education setting, preferably at the 6th-grade level
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Caseload and Schedule :
The specific caseload and schedule details will pertain to 6th-grade classroom responsibilities. This position requires a full-time commitment following standard school hours for the current school year.
