About The Position
Job Title : Special Procedures Technologist Job Specialty : Neuro Diagnostic Technologist (EEG) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with off-premise weekend / holiday call Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : 1 to 2 years as a Neurodiagnostics (EEG) Technologist License : ABRET certification (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists) Certifications : BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network Must-Have : Associates Degree in a related field and / or completion of an accredited Electroencephalographic Technology program Job Description : Perform skilled non-invasive neurodiagnostic procedures and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
- Responsible for general record-keeping, inventory management, and equipment quality control.- Provide accurate and detailed documentation of diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety during all diagnostic procedures.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment.- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for diagnostic imaging.
