This position will be located in CHANDLER, AZ and requires all work to be performed onsite. Comtech offers a relocation package for eligible, out of state individuals, who accept an offer and relocate within a defined period of time.
In addition, this position requires US Citizenship along and requires an active US government-issued Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
- Prepares test procedures and documentation to be used from initial design phase through production. Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex IP networks, which requires in-depth understanding of the ISO layers of IP networking as well as familiarity with routers, switches, and standard IP protocol analyzers.
- Reports, tracks and monitors product performance, capabilities, and defects.
- Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
- Creation and setup of test fixtures.
- Ability to create, interpret, modify programming source code in multiple languages for automated test software.
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field expertise is required.
- Minimum 4 + years of experience in Ethernet network systems with routers and switches.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in programming; C / C++, Python and Java preferred.
- Knowledge in Ethernet, TCP / IP Protocols, VLAN, QoS, Managed Ethernet Switches and Routers.
- Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP, CCIE), or equivalent is desirable.
- Familiar with network test equipment, IP traffic analyzers such as Spirent TestCenter and Wireshark, is a plus.
Education
Minimum of a four year degree in Electrical Engineering from a university.
