RN – Emergency Services - Chula Vista - Nights - Bonus Eligible

This is a Full Time, 12-Hour Night Shift, position located at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista.

Scripps Mercy Hospital, Chula Vista, Emergency Services Department is at the forefront of innovative processes to reduce patient wait times, first to run a code sepsis and was the model cell for all Scripps Health Emergency Departments.

Join our 24 bed Emergency Services Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.

Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.

The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his / her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.

Required Qualifications :

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
• 1 year of recent RN experience in an Adult Emergency Services department
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in nursing
• CEN Certified Emergency Nursing

Position Pay Range : $57.00-$81.60 / hour
