What you'll do :

• Take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and projects while incorporating guidance from your mentor, manager, and peers
• Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end to help build the future of Pinterest
• Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable
• Communicate new ideas and opinions with candor as you grow both professionally and personally through learning and development opportunities
• Collaborate with your team and contribute to real projects that impact Pinterest
• Interact with senior leaders, network with various employees across the company, and participate in a number of events outside of your core duties

What we're looking for :

• This position requires current enrollment in a school or education program in which the individual is working towards a Master's in Computer Science or related technical field
• Obtain Master's in Computer Science or related technical field by June 2027
• 2-3 years of CS classes under your belt (Intro to CS and Algorithms, Advanced Algorithms, Operating Systems and Data Structures are all great!)
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Aptitude for JavaScript, CSS, C++, HTML, Python, Java, Go-we use a variety of programming languages and tools
• Non-academic coding experience (i.e. hack-a-thons, code challenges, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, volunteer coding experience, conference participation, etc.)
• A curious nature with a desire to tackle and solve complex problem

The internship program will run May 20, 2025 - August 9, 2025 and June 17, 2025 - September 6, 2025 .

In-Office Requirement :

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices Palo Alto .

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $7,500 - $10,000 monthly.
