HiEmployment is currently seeking substitute teachers for preschool and Grades K-12 for Hawaii’s private and charter schools.
We welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to help develop today’s children and young people into leaders of tomorrow.
Job Requirements :
- Be interactive, engaging, kind, and caring.
- Some experience working with children or teens.
- Pass Clearances
- Strong Communication Skills : read, write, talk, hear.
Infant - Preschool Subbing : High School Diploma
K12 Subbing : College Transcripts / Diploma Required
Physical and Mental Requirements :
- Frequently sits, bends, grasp light or fine manipulation, talk and hear.
- May be required to sit in small, child-size chairs or on the floor.
- Frequently stands and / or walks, write by hand.
- Standing for periods outside in the sun to monitor children for recess, PE, or play time.
- Occasionally lifts, carries, pushes, pulls objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
- Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.
- Comply with Covid policies and protocols.
- Climb up / down stairs.
