About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Post Anesthesia - Same Day Program Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Varying Shifts - 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours / Week Experience : Minimum Years of Experience Required License : Registered Nurse Certifications : BLS and ACLS required;
PALS preferred Must-Have : Pre and post-op recovery care expertise Job Description : Provide nursing care in a 34-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Focus on phase one recovery with a 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio.- Care for patients undergoing gyn, ortho, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Adhere to best practices and maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.
- No on-call or weekend requirements.
