This role is open to the NYC tri-state area. Must go on site to New Brunswick occasionally for big meetings.
Our Fortune 500 Consumer Goods and Healthcare client is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join their Experience Design Group.
The UX Researcher will be closely involved in researching and contributing to the strategy of a brand center website redesign.
Candidate will contribute to the organization in the following ways :
- Planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and conducting user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing to shape concepts and seeing them through to implementation.
- Designing and specifying user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, surveys, and other forms of requirements discovery.
- Producing insight decks, research plans, scripts, journey maps
- Effectively communicating research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
MUST HAVE STRONG SLIDE DECK DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE UNDERSTAND HOW TO PRIORITIZE INFO AND PRESENT IT SUCCINCTLY.
- Guiding the research process, driving decisions, giving clear feedback, tracking issues, responding positively and calmly to shifting priorities, opinions, demands and timelines with management guidance.
- Embracing challenges and inspiring new ways of thinking.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of seven years of UX research experience.
- Strong knowledge of user interface research processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web and digital-based applications and consumer electronics including Agile and lean user-experience processes.
- A compelling portfolio of work demonstrating high-quality user research within a variety of projects.
- A strong understanding of current design trends, processes, and theories
- A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people
- A combination of strong conceptual thinking and strategic skills with an ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Must be able to function as a team leader as well as an individual contributor.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with all levels of corporate leads, designers and strategists.
- Experience with Figma a plus.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80-90 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
