- The purpose of ACRC’s Speech Pathologist’s position is to assess applicants for eligibility for ACRC services; provide evaluation, assessment, and consultation;
- and address Client needs in alignment with ACRC-defined ethical, clinical, practical, and professional standards. Specifically, the position will : conduct speech and language evaluations;
- complete written assessments; review and provide feedback regarding assessment reports by Service Providers; provide information and guidance in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings;
work with staff and Service Providers to ensure appropriate and quality services; monitor services / service delivery; as well as provide support and assistance to colleagues, including collaborating to solve unique problems.
Experience and Skills : Applicants must possess : a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; 2 years of professional experience in treatment of a wide variety of communication disorders;
1 year of Pediatrics experience; experience in the administration and interpretation of diagnostic tests; and a current California driver’s license, plus current automobile liability insurance.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Other requirements and qualifications apply.
