Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best in class Electrical Apprentice willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field.

MKD Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Apprentice . As part of this role

• Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and relay schematics
• Ensures the performance of all field-testing equipment is completed accurately and safely
• Communicate with proper teams to schedule necessary support to perform testing and commissioning of all systems and equipment
• Perform point to point checks
• Perform pre-functional and functional testing
• Develop energization plans
• Must be confident, a strong troubleshooter, and effectively communicate.
• Must be able to demonstrate SAFE electrical troubleshooting skills using basic and advanced test equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook applications
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated electrical, HVAC, and mechanical background.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and / or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors.
