Primary Responsibilities :

COACH DEVELOPMENT - The Coaching Coordinator will participate in training, on-boarding, developing, recruiting, supporting, and retaining Soccer Shots coaches.

Such tasks may include : confirming time sheets, reviewing weekly attendance reports, shadowing and assessing new recruits, co-leading sessions with coaches-in-training, helping with coaching clinics and trainings, networking for new hires, & coach performance management / evaluations.

INSTRUCTOR ROLE As a Soccer Shots Coaching Coordinator, you will be required to coach at any Chattanooga-area sites, per the direction of the Soccer Shots Program Director.

The session load typically ranges from 15-25 sessions per week, but may fluctuate outside of this range given our season cycle.

As the seasonal workload shifts throughout the year, adjustments will be made to ensure there is an appropriate workload balance.

It is up to the Coordinator to appropriately schedule their time and to make adjustments as necessary.

CURRICULUM REVIEW - The Coaching Coordinator is responsible for having a thorough knowledge of Soccer Shots curriculum and will train and evaluate coaches in its implementation.

Training includes providing tips and tricks to Coaches on implementation. Evaluation includes identifying revisions to curriculum to ensure the delivery of exceptional programming.

Work Hours / Location :

• This is a full-time position. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on weekends and some weekday evenings.
• This position will be based partially out of our office in Chattanooga, TN and and will require routine, daily travel to our session locations situated throughout Bradley, Catoosa, and Hamilton County Areas.

This position will involve a mix of weekday, weeknight, and weekend working hours; this is not a traditional M-F 9-5 position, but requires flexibility.

A mix of daytime, weeknight, and weekend availability is required for this position.

This position requires driving in and around the Bradley, Catoosa, and Hamilton County. The Coordinator is required to drive to multiple sites during the week and on weekends to conduct coaching assessments and provide coaching support as needed.
