Description
Job Responsibilities
- Clerical Office duties : data entry, xeroxing, faxing, scanning, printing / copying, answering phones, etc.
- Creating mail merges for letters, publicity, folders, etc.
- Assisting with confidential student files and information.
- Work with PA to develop social media content for Canvas page and all social media platforms.
- Running errands around campus.
- Assist PA with events and possibly take photos.
- Distribute flyers for department sponsored events.
- Send out emails to students and faculty
- Assist in gaining feedback for media content.
- Assist in the monthly creation of Calliope, our department newsletter
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google Sites and Forms, blogs, Canva, etc.
- Knowledge of Canvas, InDesign, Publisher
- Social Media expertise and ideas
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Receptive to direction and feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- English Major
