- Home every day for local Drivers!
WE REQUIRE :
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid and current Class A CDL License
- 1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer Experience Preferred.
- Must be able to meet al DOT requirements.
CPC Logistics Solutions is hiring for Class A Yard Hostler in the Phoenix AZ. Yard Hostler is responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within the parking lot, as well as out on the street.
Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
Shuttles tractors / trailers for maintenance when needed. Performs daily yard check and trailer inspections, also maintains the cleanliness of grounds.
Verifies and / or reports damages to tractors or trailers. Other duties as assigned and directed by supervisor. Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
Making Store deliveries when requested. Must lift to 25-60 lbs. May be exposed to heat and cold. Check temperatures of trucks, refrigerator, freezer, and trailers.
Management reserves the right to alter, change, remove or add additional areas of responsibility according to business needs.
