DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES : (Required)
Work involves reviewing, evaluating, and communicating secure configuration baselines according to agency processes. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
DUTIES
x Uses established benchmarks such as CIS, DISA STIG, etc. to determine risks to TxDOT systems for non-compliant controls.
x Supports the implementation of computer system security plans with agency personnel and outside vendors.
x Documents non-compliance with agency standard configurations and communicates risk to key stakeholders.
x Assists with refining processes and procedures for accomplishing established workflows.
x Research device and system component documentation for best practices for management.
x Document findings against information systems and assist owners with development of remediation plans .
x Performs related work as assigned.
