The Business Analyst - Commercial and Treasury Technology plays a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining the commercial and treasury technology solutions for Georgia's Own Credit Union.

This individual is involved in every aspect of the product lifecycle including developing requirements, evaluating and contributing to the selection of solutions, testing, release management, and the transition, integration and conversion of the commercial and treasury applications.

Post-implementation, the Business Analyst has change-management and administrative responsibilities as well as the ongoing, day-to-day support of their enterprise-level portfolio of solutions.

This person works within problem, change and incident management framework, categorizing and prioritizing Service Desk tickets, working with all parties required to obtain necessary information for timely and thorough issue resolution.

They ensure all requests or issues are resolved within defined service level requirements and / or report aged items for escalation.

This role is also accountable to the Strategic Plan, requiring strong relationship-building skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team as a trusted partner in order to ensure simple, secure and effective experiences are delivered by and through the Enterprise Technology organization.

The Business Analyst reports to the SVP, Commercial & Treasury Technology and has no direct management duties. In-person work will fluctuate with demand and at times, may require an in-person presence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development of efficient and repeatable processes to administer and support commercial and treasury technology systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for commercial and treasury technology solutions.
  • Analyze and document business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed functional and technical specifications for proposed solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and cost-benefit analyses for solution selection.
  • Research and evaluate potential technology solutions that meet business requirements.

Solutions Delivery - (Yes)

  • Deliver simple, secure, and reliable commercial and treasury technology across the enterprise.
  • Deliver successful implementation, integration, and change management to commercial and treasury technology systems.
  • Deliver routine and planned administrative changes to commercial and treasury technology systems.
  • Deliver routine validation and successful completion of recurring cycles such as daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and automation oversight.
  • Deliver successful conversion of commercial and treasury technology systems related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Deliver successful release management communication, validation, testing, and execution.
  • Deliver all services requests, changes, and issues along with the actions taken through logged ticket(s).
  • Deliver well written and concise communication to the organization quickly and efficiently.
  • Deliver support to internal and external audit and evaluation of commercial and treasury technology solutions.

Solutions Management - (Yes)

  • Ensure commercial and treasury technology systems are highly available, functional, and operational.
  • Ensure support issues and requests are resolved within defined service levels.
  • Assist in testing execution of Enterprise Technology business continuity strategy.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating processes and procedures.
  • Assist in execution of support, release management, transition, integration, and conversion.
  • Contribute to continuous feedback loops to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer throughout enterprise technology.

Supplier Relationship Management - (Yes)

  • Conduct research for all current and future commercial and treasury technology solutions to support continuous improvement and optimization efforts.
  • Assistance in the selection, assessment, and on-going management of new relationships with third parties.
  • Serve as contact for coordination and escalation of commercial and treasury technology services with third parties.
  • Coordinate and participate in vendor demonstrations and solution assessments.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years' experience years' experience in the financial industry, commercial bank preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience managing all aspects of a technology portfolio for Commercial and / or Treasury focused business lanes or organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field of study is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma fundamentals is preferred.

  • Proficiency with commonly used technology tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • If not already proficient, must develop in-depth knowledge of such systems as Fiserv DNA, MeridianLink, Abrigo and other financial and commercial and treasury technology-related systems as implemented.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation.

Employee will be in an office environment (well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned) typically stationed at a desk or table.

Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift / push up 10 lbs. Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required.
