Salary : $62,000-$65,000

Position Overview :

We are immediately hiring a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our fast-paced, growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain accurate and timely records of employee data.
• Prepare and process weekly payroll, including calculating wages, and deductions.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, employment laws, and other relevant regulations.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay and benefits.
• Process court ordered wage garnishments, including child support, student loans, wage assignments, bankruptcy orders, and state and federal tax levies.
• Collaborate with the CFO to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Perform other duties as required to support the payroll function.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
• Experience with payroll software, ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Experience with processing wage garnishments.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
