Environmental Services Manager -
Pembroke Hospital is a -bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems.

The Environmental Services Manager is a working manager position providing operation oversight of the housekeeping department.
This is a full time, hour per week position
Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Housekeeping tasks to support the housekeeping team
- Assists with the completion of interviews, evaluations and hiring of EVS staff.
- Conducts new EVS staff orientation.
- Conducts EVS staff scheduling.
- Conducts inventory control and supply ordering to ensure that the EVS team has the necessary tools and supplies to perform their daily tasks.
- Provides oversight to help schedule and coordinate the third-party cleaning for urgent requests from ancillary departments.
- Manages the chemical inventory list for the EVS department and ensures all SDS sheets are up to date.
- Performs routine checks / inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure that the building is safe, clean and well maintained.

Qualifications
Requirements
Education : High School Diploma plus two years of college preferred. Extension experience or apprenticeship in a trade or prior experience acceptable.
Experience : Minimum of five years as a tradesman in environmental services or maintenance. Must demonstrate familiarity with current Joint Commission and state licensing issues and focuses.
Physical : Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and be able to perceive the attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, and / or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of the fingertips.
May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and / or float as needed. Must be able to exert up to pounds of force occasionally and to be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
