This position can be based within the United States, but preferably in a major metropolitan area.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Director to lead our Surgical Medical Devices sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
This position reports to the Vice President and General Manager of Solta. It is responsible for sales management of our surgical sales team and will collaborate with our non-surgical sales group where appropriate to deliver a comprehensive set of aesthetic medical device solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets
- Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products
- Work with sales operations to develop appropriate compensation plans and bonus structure
- Manage team productivity and results leveraging CRM to measure
- Develop professional development plans for the team
- Establish a robust succession plan to accelerate business scaleability
- Work with marketing, clinical, and customer support to assure smooth customer experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications :
- BA / BS required. Higher degree a plus
- Minimum of 10+ years of sales management experience in the medical device industry
- Experience leading sales managers strongly preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability of building high performance teams, structures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent ability to analyze and interpret data and contribute to business reviews for sales management and executive management
- Track record managing and driving organizational change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel up to 75% of the time
