Our Core Tax Services team is seeking a Tax Manager to support our Nashville, Tennessee market on a hybrid schedule (average 2-3 days / week in office).

The successful candidate will manage the client's tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities.

Candidates should be accustomed to working as the main point of contact with the client and will be comfortable in managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and client communications.

This role will also be responsible for training and developing less experienced professional staff.

As a Tax Manager, you will :

• Solve problems for middle-market clients in varied industries such as manufacturing, real estate and construction, professional services, and others
• Manage engagements and providing knowledgeable review of complex individual and partnership returns
• Build and serving our partnerships and high net-worth individuals with estate, gift and trust tax planning and compliance needs
• Leverage your project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Lead tax staff and seniors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrate superior client service skills

What you bring to the role :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's degree preferred
• Must be CPA certified with an active CPA license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience
• Strong working background and knowledge of C-and S-Corporations, LLCs, and Partnerships
• Demonstrated background in working with pass-through entity taxation, particularly with partnerships
• Preferred partnership experience includes entity structuring, operating agreement review and consultation, compliance, allocations, partner transactions and related matters
• Strong understanding of varied business entities and industries
• Experience with complex individual tax compliance and planning; estate tax compliance and planning are a plus

The salary range for this position is $86,165-$155,100. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
