CDL Class A Truck Driver Summary :
American Hardwood Industries, AHI, a member of the Baillie Group, is seeking qualified CDL A Truck Drivers in support of our Virginia operations.
This is an excellent full-time opportunity working for a world class lumber organization.
CDL Class A Truck Driver Pay & Benefits : (Should we post pay range?)
- First shift
- Overtime weekly
- Occasional Overnight requirements
- Full Plan of Benefits
CDL Class A Truck Driver Qualifications :
- Must possess a clean CDL A
- Must have a valid DOT medical card.
- Port Certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience
CDL Class A Truck Driver Daily Duties :
- Primary duties include driving a tractor trailer or straight truck (triaxle) with wagon attached.
- Driving on interstate highways, state highways, county roads and local (town) roads
- Hauling lumber, cants and / or logs between company facilities, customer locations and ports
- Coordinating with company and customer shipping personnel
- Maintaining routine equipment condition logs
