Marketing Consultant
Scope of Position
The Department of Marketing, Communications and Digital Strategy is responsible for the overall brand management for Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The James, College of Medicine and OSU Physicians.
This marketing consultant position sits within the department's Growth Marketing and Reputation Strategy Team. It has the primary responsibility for supporting and advancing the OSU Physicians talent acquisition goals through staff and physician recruitment marketing initiatives
Position Summary
The Marketing and Communications Consultant position works closely with the Health Systems Senior Marketing Director and the OSUP Talent Acquisition Team to provide strategic marketing and communications support, specifically focusing on enhancing the OSU Physicians employment brand and driving applicant volume to critical job openings, plus providing marketing support for OSUP Community growth.
Responsible for overall marketing management, social media strategy and content development, project management, creating internal communications, building and maintaining OSUP team relationships and providing creative solutions to marketing challenges.
Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of marketing and strategic communications plans and tactics, overall project management, building and maintaining of relationships and providing creative solutions to marketing challenges.
Responsible for overall marketing management, social media strategy and content development, project management, creating internal communications, building and maintaining OSUP team relationships and providing creative solutions to marketing challenges.
Utilizes strong relationships with all partners to help manage and research aspects of each project, shares information accurately and promptly, and contributes to developing and implementing overall marketing strategy and messaging for Talent Acquisition (Human Resources).
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant marketing or communications experience is required. Experience in marketing, social media, content creation, and project management is preferred.
