Apex Systems is hiring an Automation Tester for one of our top DoD clients in Charleston, SC

Hybrid Schedule, onsite 3 days a week and 2 remote

6 month contract to hire

Requirements :

• Automated Testing Experience
• Experience with industry-accepted test tools, preference to cloud-based tools
• Must be able to collaborate with a technically diverse team
• Experience with application Test and Evaluation, specifically unit testing and integration testing.
• Knowledge of software applications, operating systems, frameworks, integrated data environments, or other technical domains.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance
• 1-3 years of experience in conducting system tests in accordance with specific written test scripts.
• Must have experience in documenting results and documenting failures.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of work experience in Software Development Lifecycle process focusing on test engineering, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance
• 1-3 years of experience in conducting system tests in accordance with specific written test scripts.
• Experience with BDD, Cucumber, Selenium, and Java.
• Must have experience in documenting results and documenting failures.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :

Experience using JIRA and the Atlassian Tool Suite
