The Patent Agent / Patent Attorney will draft patent applications and prosecute applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The Patent Agent / Patent Attorney will draft scientific and technical patent applications clearly and concisely, conducting technical research using available resources in support of various patent-related matters.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and have proven experience drafting patent applications with a specialization in electronics, semi-conductors, circuitry, optics, and lasers.
- Candidates must be registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and if appropriate, licensed to practice law in their respective state.
- Candidates must have strong time management skills and be able to meet and manage internal and client-driven deadlines with assignments coming from multiple partners and clients.
- Candidates must have strong attention to detail, writing skills, and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
