Job Summary :
The Providence Center Clinical Therapist Team 1F will provide outpatient psychotherapy.
Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program.
Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers.
Assess clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others.
Provide individual, group, and family mental health and / or substance abuse therapy.
Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and individuals in the consumers' network of care.
Maintain knowledge and familiarity of mental health and / or substance abuse and other related community agencies.
Communicate with various local agencies and individuals, as well as with Center staff.
Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements.
Attend trainings, case presentations and conferences.
Participate in the education of other Center staff.
Attend mandatory inservice trainings and other trainings required for renewal of licensure.
Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff, consumers, community agencies and the public.
Serve on appropriate Center committees.
Provide mental health consultation to other community agencies.
Requirements :
Master degree in Social Work and relevant clinical experience.
LICSW / LMHC with 5 year post licensure and LCDP required.
Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred.
Insured auto and valid driver's license.
