In this position...
Lead problem solving to assist plants and implementation teams in resolving tooling, equipment and conveyor performance issues and downtime.
You'll have...
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)
Even better, you may have...
- Bachelors Degree
- Electrical background (electrician or technician) preferred
- Familiar with PLC / CNC (Siemens / Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC Robots
- Solid understanding of laser burning
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics and use AutoCAD
- Validated ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvements
- Experience with conveyor system programming and overhead Gantry
- Solid understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet and remote IO
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
- Lean Tools 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience
- Understanding of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processes
- Familiar with TQM and Kaizen methods
- One or more years of experience with MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
- Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferred

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
