In this position...

Lead problem solving to assist plants and implementation teams in resolving tooling, equipment and conveyor performance issues and downtime.

You'll have...

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 or more years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Electrical background (electrician or technician) preferred
  • Familiar with PLC / CNC (Siemens / Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC Robots
  • Solid understanding of laser burning
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics and use AutoCAD
  • Validated ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvements
  • Experience with conveyor system programming and overhead Gantry
  • Solid understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet and remote IO
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
  • Lean Tools 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience
  • Understanding of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processes
  • Familiar with TQM and Kaizen methods
  • One or more years of experience with MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
  • Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferred

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
