KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Lecturer in Genetic Counseling will Prepare for patient appointments, including medical record review Assist with clinical consultations, draft consultation notes and write patient result letters Complete lab requisition forms.
- Coordinate patient and / or family genetic testing. Coordinate specimen send outs and results notifications Attend weekly case conference meetings Participate in specialty clinics, as required Enter patient information into division database Supervise medical students, rotating residents and genetic counseling students Assist with orientation of Genetics fellows PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Must have a Master's degree Must be Board certification in Genetic Counseling or be Board-eligible Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines;
