ProRecruiters is seeking a Chemical Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description :
- Operate and monitor process equipment such as reactors, pumps, chillers and compressors according to operating procedures
- Adjust equipment settings to control chemical reactions, quality, or yields as directed
- Record process conditions, test results and instrument readings
- Perform quality control tests by drawing samples to ensure standards are met
- Start pumps to regulate the flow of raw materials, air, steam, or nitrogen
- Manage control systems (e.g., PLC) and operate semi-automatic equipment
- Respond to and resolve safety or equipment issues, reporting to supervisory staff as needed
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products in process equipment
- Conduct inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process improvements
Position Requirements :
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to drive a forklift
- Must be willing to work 8 hours and 12 hour rotating shift (including night shift as needed)
