Software Development Snr Manager

Job Duties : Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.

Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (

Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires :

• Computer fundamentals : data processing, run times, network protocols, memory management, and appropriate data structures;
• Design software and algorithms to solve problems or model specific scenarios;
• Threading, concurrency, and problems that can result from concurrent processing;
• Web applications deployed to cluster or cloud environment, including handling state, deploying data across distributed servers and caching;
• Object oriented programming and programming languages including Java and VM configuration;
• Working with cloud technologies, specifically Amazon EC2, Dynamo DB;
• Designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, and evaluating software programs;
• Working with test driven deployment, unit tests, and continuous deployment;
• UI Development; and,
• Designing Restful API’s and Tomcat.

US : Hiring Range : from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
