Senior DevOps Engineer
The Analog Garage is our internal innovation lab. Bringing together engineers, data scientists, and business leaders, we develop new technologies and solutions in a fast-moving, experiment-focused startup atmosphere.

Our Software Engineering Group works cross-functionally to advance applications in areas such as computer vision, robotics, wearable electronics, and intelligent edge devices.
Together, we develop and maintain the foundational platform that allows ADI to rapidly prototype and deploy sensor-to-cloud innovations.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate the Garage’s productivity by creating and expanding existing CI / CD pipelines. You will gain experience working across a wide variety of deployment targets that reach from resource constrained Systems on a Chip to complex Kubernetes Clusters hosted at the major cloud providers.
- Develop new and expand existing Infrastructure-as-Code templates and automation.
- Assist with Garage sysadmin functions and automation including AWS accounts, GitLab and build servers.
- Design, implement, and unit test components of our Cloud and Edge data and orchestration system Cradle.
Other Expectations
Work collaboratively within the team. Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior teammates. Design for modularity and reuse.
Develop robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservice-driven architectures. Write user and API documentation. Develop unit and integration tests.
Required Qualifications
BSCS or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Gitlab, GitHub, Jira / BitBucket / Bamboo, or similar.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong Linux fundamentals; comfortable in a shell (bash, zsh or similar).
- Prior experience with AWS (or similar).
- Proficient in a major language like Python, Rust, C++ or Golang.
- Familiar with build systems like CMake or Gradle.
- Willingness and ability to learn.
- Action oriented and comfortable taking calculated risks.
- Innately curious with a desire to understand the business model, operations and financial structure for the organization.
- A bias for action and working in collaboration with others to deliver results.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
- Experience with tools within the MLOps ecosystem such as Sagemaker or Azure Machine Learning.
- Experience with Rust.
- Experience working closely with Researchers / ML Engineers / Data Scientists and a familiarity with the challenges of bringing research grade code to production systems.
