Part Time Donut Fryer

Location : Cub Foods Lake St.

Reports to : Bakery Manager

Classification : Nonunion

Rate of Pay : Up to $19.85 / hour, based on experience

Hours : Sunday Saturday, varied hours

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to :

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Prepare bakery products including a variety of donuts, cakes, and breads
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
• Assist with merchandising and receiving products to keep our shelves full
• Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team
• Train and develop future bakery employees
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department

• Has experience working in a bakery (2-3 years preferred)
• Knows about pastries, breads, ovens, and good food
• Understands math and can follow recipes provided by Jerry’s

• lifting / carrying to 50 lbs., pushing / pulling over 50 force lbs. (unloading bakery ingredients and supplies)

Equipment Operation :

scanner, scale, label machine, mixer, oven, donut fryer, donut glazer, pan washer, bread slicer, scraper, knives, box cutter, baker rack, pallet jack

Mental :

judgment / decision making, social skills / verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math, basic computer skills

Environmental :

extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces, working with hot grease

OCCASIONAL : Physical

Physical

lifting / carrying over 50 lbs., equipment operation (calculator), climbing ladders, kneeling

FREQUENT : 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift

OCCASIONAL : Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
